What is a Bowls Drive?
A social, fun evening of bowls especially for newer bowlers to meet and play with other members of the club which is held on the 1st Saturday of every month throughout the year.
You can book your entry by adding your name and contact number to the list on the noticeboard. Ask any of the club members if you are unsure where this is.
On arriving at 6.45 pm, you are drawn into a team, that you will stay in all evening, which is usually in triples. Games commence at 7.00 pm.
We then play 16 ends of bowls, in three short matches of 6 ends, 6 ends and 4 ends to ensure you play against different people and end up with a prize presentation and a chance to socialise with your playing partners.
Currently, the entry fee for the evening is £5.00
Prizes are awarded to the winners and runners-up.
