The Kingsthorpe Bowling Club Rambling Group is an informal group of people interested in regular walking in the countryside. No member of the group is in any way qualified for leading any activity. It is up to all individuals taking part in any activity to decide whether it is suitable for their own state of health, fitness and aptitude. Everyone has a responsibility to ensure that on walks they are suitably equipped, clothed and shod. There are many books on the subject containing itemised lists. Participants are responsible for their own safety. Neither the group nor individuals carry insurance against claims by participants who undertake activities at their own risk.
