Andrew Hunter and Ernie Tredwell
In 2023 the Hunter Tredwell Open Triples tournament returned after a four-year break. The all-day event was a resounding success and all participants and spectators alike said what a great day it was and were eager for a repeat. And guess what? We’re thrilled to announce that the event is back again this year!
The tournament goes back to 2015 when some of the members wanted to honour Andrew Hunter, a cancer sufferer who passed away in 2014 and Ernie Tredwell, a stalwart of the club who had passed away a few years earlier. Both were long-standing members of Kingsthorpe Bowling Club.
